Is Playboi Carti gay? Anyways, there’s  been rumors about this American rapper over the years regarding his sexuality. Many of his fans are still asking questions, wanting to know whether he is gay or not.

These questions date back to 2021 and have lingered to the present day. Playboi Carti himself has responded, noting that if he had known these rumors would arise early in his career, he would have addressed them head-on

In an interview with Highsnobiety, he shared his thoughts on challenging public perception:

“If the world’s going right. I’m gonna go left. If your cross is straight, then I’m gonna put my sh*t upside down. If you hate cigarettes, then I’m gonna smoke as many as I can,” he stated, before addressing rumors of his sexual orientation.

“I’m anti-everything. I’m not going out my way to have people like, ‘Oh, what the f**k’s Carti on? Is he gay, or is he trolling?’ No, bro — I don’t give a f*ck. I’m being myself.”

He has had to live with the regrets of not being himself since he debuted his career. He mentioned he would have said what he wanted and stood his ground regardless of what everyone thinks.

“I hate that I waited so long to be myself. I wish I came in like this,” he continued. “But if you look at my career you see little signs of that sh*t.

Even if I wasn’t wearing all black and all that sh*t, I always had a glimpse of this. ‘Oh yeah, bro out here, he on some whole other sh*t’ – it’s always been me. From the moment I came into this game. You know what I’m saying?”

Is Playboi Carti Really Gay?

No, he is not. In his song “New Tank,” Playboi rapped about what people thought he sexuality was. He received a lot of scrutiny after the line “They thought I was gay”.

This infuriated a lot of people from the gay community and also those who already had it in mind he was gay. Playboi had to come out and say he doesn’t care what sexuality people think identify. He choses to flow his way and not changed because of people. 

Although he didn’t exclusively reveal whether he is gay or not, however, Playboi Carti stated he would do what he pleases. He isn’t following thr crowd or doing anything that would justify his life or sexuality in the eyes of the public.
