From an early age, Swazo showed a strong passion for music. By the age of 8, he had already begun as a drummer in his church, where he also sang in the choir and played the keyboard.
During his secondary school days, Swazo and his friends formed a group and performed at school and neighborhood events, which nurtured his love for music. Eventually, he chose to pursue a solo career.
Swazo completed his primary and secondary education in Warri, Delta State. Although his family originates from the southeast, they resided in Delta State during his early years. After secondary school, he attended the University of Calabar, where he completed his tertiary education. He studied economics at the University of Calabar.
